about me

My work is rooted in the elemental—space, air, water, earth, fire, metal, and wood. These forces of nature form the essence of my inspiration, drawn from the land I walk daily: fields shifting with the seasons, brooks glinting under changing light, paths split open by summer’s heat or softened into sticky mud in winter’s embrace.

Nature teaches me through its constant transformation—a flow that is always moving, always changing, yet patterned in its repetition. This cyclical rhythm is echoed in my process. I paint with tools that extend the body and amplify gesture—brushes, mops, sticks, sponges, and combs—moving over the canvas in sweeping motions. Each stroke is unique, yet connected, woven into the next like threads in a larger tapestry.

No two movements are the same, just as no two moments in nature ever repeat precisely. But together, they speak of cycles, of interconnectedness, of a harmony that underlies the chaos. My work is an offering to this eternal movement—a trace of being within the pulse of the natural world.
